Abilene Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) is the marketing arm of the City, providing services to tourists, groups convening in Abilene, and marketing of the community. The CVB operates a trolley providing historic Abilene tours. CVB staff is responsible for the management of the Civic Center, rentals, and maintenance of the building.


The restored 1928 Union Pacific Depot is the home to the Abilene Visitor Information Center and 160-person meeting room. It also houses the Abilene Convention and Visitors Bureau.From the Eisenhower Center and the growing number of specialty shops, to the many beautifully restored historic homes, you will want to stop in to learn of Abilene's many attractions.

Our state-sanctioned Visitor Information Center is open 362 days a year to welcome visitors to Abilene.

Came here to see the end of the Chisholm Trail. We drove the trail up from Fort worth. I wish they had more here but it's fun to be at if you;re a trail fan.
