Somerset Ridge Vineyard & Winery is a family owned artisanal Kansas City winery dedicated to producing premium award winning wines from locally grown grapes. Our wines reflect regional character derived from our long, sunny days during the growing season and rocky limestone hills where our vines are located. Somerset Ridge is the largest vineyard in Kansas as we have over 9,000 vines! We are so proud to be pesticide free as we strive to make the highest quality wine for our wine lovers. Cindy and Dennis planted the first vines on the property in 1998. They both are huge wine lovers and thought having a few vines would be a fun hobby. Their first vintage was bottled in 2001 and they haven’t stopped bottling since! 20 years later, their fun hobby has become one of the best wineries in Kansas City!
