I can't say enough about the staff here. They are amazing and knowledgeable people. We were givin a tour and the young lady who gave it was happy to answer any questions from the kids. We were there with a group from a local school and as most teens do, they tended to get a little loud. I was sure our guide was going to get upset but she never once got frustrated or raised her voice. It is always an awesome experience and there is always something new to be seen or heard.

Its a must see little Gem. My kids usually are ready to go as soon as we walk in the door of a museum. This place keep the interest peaked. If your ever in Chanute you got to go.

The Johnson's traveled in Africa. The Museum contains records of their adventures. Very interesting, it has been downscaled to what it was. They get visitors from all over the world. I have been there several times over the years
