Baldwin City Community Theater is a not-for-profit organization pledged to create and support activities that nurture community fellowship and family unity for the residents of Baldwin City and surrounding areas.
Community theatre offers unique opportunities. For example: High School and college productions are limited to a very narrow age group i.e.- people between the ages of 15 to 23 years of age.
One major production is chosen to highlight children on stage. The productions showcase children in one or all areas of acting, singing and/or dancing. The dinner theatre is presented in the spring and is suitable for viewing by all age groups. The Melodrama is staged during a community wide celebration during the fall Maple Leaf Festival and this too is a production where families participate in all phases.
