Sunflower Elementary Community Fun Run/Walk

The purpose of this non-competitive race is to bring the Sunflower Elementary and Lawrence community together to support health, wellness, and connection. The race start will take place at Sunflower Elementary School in the beautiful Lawrence, KS, and consist of a loop circling the Sunflower and Southwest Middle School property that is partially off-road on grass and partially on paved sidewalk. Participants can run/walk from one to three loops based on preference, and volunteers will be present to help with route directing. The finish line of the race is on the Southwest Middle School Track.  A t-shirt is included in the entry fee, and t-shirts can be picked up at Sunflower the morning of the race from 7:30 to 8:45 am.
