Your Hometown Hutchinson Zoo is once again collaborating with the Hutchinson High School Thespian Club for our annual Halloween event.

The Hutchinson Zoo has partnered with the Hutchinson High School Thespian Club to bring you a perfectly blended scary & funny Haunted Zoo experience. You won't want to miss it!

October 27th, 28th & 29th, 2023

Friday and Saturday: 6pm - 8:30pm

Sunday: 6pm-8pm

As the sun sets and the moon casts an eerie glow, the zoo transforms into a realm of fright and fear. The usual laughter of children and the rustle of leaves are replaced by ghostly whispers and the haunting echoes of forgotten creatures. Prepare yourself for a spine-chilling adventure as you enter the mysterious world of our Haunted Zoo experience.

A special family-friendly space has been added for children under the age of 10. Tickets for this space do not allow entry into the rest of the Haunted Zoo. Your ticket will give you 30 minutes in the Family Zone. Participate in family-friendly activities without the spook factor.

If you would like to bring smaller children to participate in the family-friendly activities while older children attend the Haunted Zoo we recommend purchasing tickets with the same start time. This will allow the Haunted Zoo participants to meet you at the gate to the Family Zone at the same end time.

The Haunted Zoo experience is approximately 30 minutes.

- This is a partnership fundraiser to support the Hutchinson Friends of the Zoo and the Hutchinson High School Thespian Club.

- All tickets must be provided at the gate to ensure entry for your entire party into the event.

- Tickets are non-refundable

- Event held rain or shine

- Buy three get one free!

- Online ticketing closes at 5pm on the day of the event.

- Tickets purchased in advance guarantee your spot.

- Tickets can be purchased at the gate if there are any spaces available.

- We will have a family-friendly space for children under 10 years old.

- The main event is not recommended for children under the age of 4, and parental guidance is recommended for children 5-9 years old.

- Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

- *Haunted Zoo Groups depart every 10 minutes. Please arrive 5 minutes before your ticket time. We cannot guarantee space for late arrivals.*
