Boo at the Zoo

Are you ready for the 2023 Boo at the Zoo?

Join us on October 28th from 12pm to 5pm for the 30th annual Boo at the Zoo!

Starting in 2023 we will be extending our hours and implementing timed tickets. Tickets are in 15-minute increments to reduce your wait time. You can arrive at your selected time and enter the event right away. Tickets are free, and available in advance so you can better plan your day and participate in other Hutchinson events!

Thanks to our sponsors we are able to once again bring you a fun, kid-friendly, trick-or-treating day at your Hometown Hutchinson Zoo!

Come out with your best non-scary Halloween costume as you fill your candy bag with candy bag at the 30th annual Boo at the Zoo. We will have a bounce house donated by Inflate-o-Fun, games, and special zoo animal encounters.

The Prairie Thunder Railroad will be running during the event. Be sure to buy tickets in the gift shop (kids 3-12 are $2 and adults 13 & up are $3) and enjoy a special spooky but not scary ride.

We allow licensed and trained service animals, please check in with staff when you arrive. No pets or companion animals are allowed on Zoo grounds.
