WonderEve 2017 will be kicking off children’s activities at 9 a.m. and will ring in the “Noon Year” at noon with hats, noisemakers, and a confetti blast! A special performance from Mr. Stinkyfeet and a balloon artist will keep the kids entertained while they enjoy snacks and fun activities. Everything is included with the $8 admission.
Dave and Buster’s is offering an exciting package of great food and fun to help your family celebrate the new year. The event includes access to an appetizer buffet, drinks, desserts, game play, and an exciting video ball drop to ring in the new year at noon. Packages range between $30 and $40 for everything and you are invited to stay around after the event as long as you wish.
Grab the family and head over to Botanica, the Wichita Gardens for a fun New Year’s night complete with a firework celebration. The Wichita Gardens always bring guests closer to nature on Dec. 31 a family-friendly fireworks show will commence at 8 p.m. There will also be a bar available for adult beverages throughout the evening.
The Run in the New Year 5K race is a great way to kick off the new year with a healthy outdoor event. Kicking off at 11:45 p.m. from the Wichita Boathouse the run/walk offers people the opportunity to start the new year with a great exercise and fun. Every participant receives a commemorative hat, long sleeve shirt, and finisher's medal.
Head over to Skate City in Kansas City, Kansas, on Dec. 31 from 7 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. for a special New Year’s Eve bash! Is there a more classic way to ring in the new year than by putting on a pair of roller skates and skating the night away?
